Roddoco Seller Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Roddoco! Thank you for choosing Roddoco as your platform to connect with buyers and grow your business. These terms and conditions govern your participation as a seller on our platform. By registering as a seller, you agree to comply with these terms.
1. Eligibility to Sell
1.1. Sellers must register with accurate and complete information, including PAN, GSTIN (if applicable), bank account details, and valid identification documents.
1.2. Compliance with all local, state, and national laws is mandatory.
1.3. Roddoco reserves the right to reject, suspend, or terminate seller accounts for non-compliance or violations.
2. Product Listing Rules
2.1. Only genuine and permissible items may be listed. Counterfeit, restricted, or illegal items are strictly prohibited.
2.2. Product listings must include accurate descriptions, images, pricing, and other required details. Misleading or false information will lead to penalties account suspension.
2.3. Sellers must ensure products comply with applicable safety, quality, and warranty standards.
2.4. Roddoco reserves the right to review and delist any product that violates these terms or does not meet platform standards.
3. Fees and Charges
3.1. Registration Fee: Free for all sellers.
3.2. Commission Fee: A percentage of the selling price based on product categories. Details will be shared during onboarding.
3.3. Service Charges: Payment gateway fees, shipping fees, and other operational costs may apply.
3.4. Penalty Fees: Delayed order processing, cancellations, or disputes caused by seller negligence may attract penalties:
- Delay in order fulfillment: 5% of order value or INR 50, whichever is higher.

Repeated violations: Account suspension after three strikes.
3.5. All charges and fees will be deducted from payouts.
4. Payment and Settlements
4.1. Payments will be settled into the seller’s registered bank account within 7 business days of successful order completion, provided there are no disputes.
4.2. Deductions such as commission, service fees, and penalties will be detailed in the settlement report.
4.3. Sellers are responsible for all applicable taxes, including GST. Roddoco may provide tax-compliant invoices or reports for seller convenience.
5. Order Fulfillment
5.1. Sellers must process and dispatch orders promptly to meet delivery deadlines. Delays may lead to penalties.
5.2. Proper packaging and labeling of products are mandatory to ensure product safety during transit.
5.3. Tracking information must be updated within the platform for buyer convenience.
5.4. Roddoco offers optional transit insurance for sellers to protect against losses during shipping.
6. Returns, Refunds, and Disputes
6.1. Sellers are responsible for handling returns and refunds for defective or non-compliant products within 7 days of buyer notification.
6.2. Certain categories may be marked as "no returns," provided this is disclosed at the time of listing.
6.3. Disputes will be resolved through Roddoco’s resolution process, with decisions communicated within 10 business days.
7. Content and Intellectual Property
7.1. Sellers retain ownership of their content but grant Roddoco a royalty-free, perpetual license to use it for promotional and operational purposes.
7.2. Content must not infringe on third-party copyrights or trademarks. Violations will result in immediate delisting and potential legal action.
8. Prohibited Practices
8.1. Engaging in fraudulent activities, such as manipulating reviews or ratings, is prohibited.
8.2. Sellers may not contact buyers directly outside the platform to complete transactions.
8.3. Listing duplicate products or manipulating search results is not allowed.
8.4. Selling unsafe, counterfeit, or illegal items will lead to immediate termination and potential legal action.
9. Account Suspension and Termination
9.1. Roddoco reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for non-compliance, fraudulent activities, or repeated poor performance (e.g., low ratings or high return rates).
9.2. Sellers may appeal account suspension within 7 days by contacting Seller Support.
9.3. Sellers may deactivate their accounts voluntarily but must resolve all pending orders and dues.
10. Confidentiality and Data Usage
10.1. Sellers must safeguard buyer data and use it only for order fulfillment purposes.
10.2. Roddoco will protect seller data and will not share it with third parties without explicit consent unless required by law.
11. Liability and Indemnification
11.1. Sellers are solely responsible for the quality, authenticity, and compliance of the products they list and sell.
11.2. Sellers agree to indemnify Roddoco against any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from their activities.
12. Dispute Resolution
12.1. Disputes between Roddoco and sellers will be resolved through arbitration. Sellers agree to first attempt mediation before pursuing legal action.
12.2. Arbitration proceedings will follow the laws of [Jurisdiction], and decisions will be binding.
13. Force Majeure
Roddoco is not liable for disruptions caused by events beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions.
14. Amendments
Roddoco reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at its discretion. Sellers will be notified of significant changes via email or platform notifications.
